Year 9 Agriculture

 

​The aim of this course of study is to allow students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills with plant anatomy and physiology, garden design and animal anatomy and physiology. This course is a one semester course covered in year 9. All units are practically orientated with activities based on the school farm. It is a wide-ranging course catering for students with diverse learning styles and abilities. Whilst it is not a pre-requisite ,it is useful background for students continuing into Agricultural Science, and Agricultural and Horticultural Studies in the senior years.
