Aldridge State High School plays an active role in the local community and our students benefit from the support of an active and involved P&C.
The School Council provides another opportunity for community involvement with the running of the school in a strategic sense. A deliberate decision to enhance the involvement of the wider local community was made by the Council when it resolved to invite a representative of the Fraser Coast Regional Council to sit on the Aldridge School Council as a co-opted member.
Aldridge services a community in which a number of families face financial challenges.
Numerous research findings note the issues these challenges pose for education providers however staff at Aldridge are encouraged not to use this to condone or support our students performing at a lower level either academically or socially.
