The Aldridge SHS Cross Country is an annual event which is staged at the end of Term 1 as an afternoon reward for the great work students have done throughout the term.
Hundreds of students set off from the oval, either in a walk or a run, on a 3km to 6km track. Some years are full of mud and rain while others are run during perfect sunshine, but again, students participate in strong house spirit and enjoy the freedom of engaging in sport, outside in the open air.
All students are encouraged to participate in the run with Age Champion and Champion House trophies being awarded at the end of the races.
